WIPO
Definition: WIPO is responsible for the promotion of the protection of intellectual property throughout the world and for the administration of various multilateral treaties dealing with the legal and administrative aspects of intellectual property.
Cancellation Proceeding
Definition: A proceeding before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in which The plaintiff seeks to cancel an existing registration of a mark.
Patent Infringement
Definition: Unauthorized making, using, offering to sell, selling or importing into the United States any patented invention.
Annex F
Definition: Written specifications of the application-body document type definition agreed to by the USPTO, WIPO, EPO, and JPO.
Pending
Definition: The period in which the patent office has not yet decided whether to reject or to grant a patent application, and it has not yet been withdrawn
Group Art Unit
Definition: A working unit responsible for a cluster of related patent art. Staffed by one supervisory patent examiner (SPE) and a number of patent examiners who determine patentability on applications for a patent.
